Amen. On the plus side, I see a lot of my sons' friends rejecting this mentality entirely. No one will ever accuse them of being cowboys (they're products of a college town, after all), but they're resilient, not afraid to try things, and regularly pressure test themselves/each other.

thanks Kevin. I’m a Girl Dad so having men in the dating pool raised up right is actually a great thing.
the biggest complaint i heard was that the boys/men are not actually that.
