Nicely done. Not all posts need to go on for days, nor say anything emphasized with a 2 x 4. As you. know, you're describing the difference between an external and an internal locus of control; you found a new way to describe the immense advantages of an internal locus of control. Congratulations. If you've converted just one person, or started one person on the road to discovery, you've done a great thing.

HI Bill, It is part of my growth as a writer. I think I am recognizing that every post doesn't need to yell or be pissed off! LOL. Thanks for all of your support over the past year. The epiphany was watching the PBR this morning. The thought that developed was of what you call internal locus. The idea of putting into a task the bare minimum of intensity and focus that matches the intensity of the task is selling both short. Imagine the possibilities if everyone that did their tasks with the intensity of a bull rider or big wave surfer...
