Considering Colonial Clawbacks

Ok, the Jews took over Palestine in the 20th Century. But Whatabout happened in the 7th, 10th, 13th, 15th, 17th, and 18th centuries? Is it tit-for-tat and this-for-that or nothing-for-all?

This is an eyeful now isn’t it?

Nothing will ever equal the horror of this harrowing and terrible spectacle

The war coverage is unavoidable. And must be made unavoidable. The Rapture and End of Times and the Revelations broadcasted non-stop, with graphic play-by-play and grotesque color analysis. Body counts posted scoreboard-like so as to fire up the cheering crowds. Images of dead babies and burnt children and raped women and beheaded men, all comingled in the Fog of War and the Questioning of Conscience.

Embedded sideline reporters ducking for cover and wearing their best combat fatigues. Empathetic anchors well-wishing safety admonitions and thoughts and prayers. And, most harrowing and horrifying of all, suffering survivors giving a words-eye view to the horrors of Armageddon.

Here’s a description of the bloodbath from an eyewitness:

Nothing will ever equal the horror of this harrowing and terrible spectacle. People frightened by the shouting ran out of their houses and were cut down by the sword before they knew what was happening. And some were massacred in their houses where they tried to hide, and some in churches where they sought refuge.

The enraged Turkish soldiers . . . gave no quarter. When they had massacred and there was no longer any resistance, they were intent on pillage and roamed through the town stealing, disrobing, pillaging, killing, raping, taking captive men, women, children, old men, young men, monks, priests, people of all sorts and conditions . . . There were virgins who awoke from troubled sleep to find those brigands standing over them with bloody hands and faces full of abject fury. This medley of all nations, these frantic brutes stormed into their houses, dragged them, tore them, forced them, dishonored them, raped them at the cross-roads and made them submit to the most terrible outrages. It is even said that at the mere sight of them many girls were so stupefied that they almost gave up the ghost.

Old men of venerable appearance were dragged by their white hair and piteously beaten. Priests were led into captivity in batches, as well as reverend virgins, hermits and recluses who were dedicated to God alone and lived only for Him to whom they sacrificed themselves, who were dragged from their cells and others from the churches in which they had sought refuge, in spite of their weeping and sobs and their emaciated cheeks, to be made objects of scorn before being struck down. Tender children were brutally snatched from their mothers' breasts and girls were pitilessly given up to strange and horrible unions, and a thousand other terrible things happened. . .

Temples were desecrated, ransacked and pillaged . . . sacred objects were scornfully flung aside, the holy icons and the holy vessels were desecrated. Ornaments were burned, broken in pieces or simply thrown into the streets. Saints' shrines were brutally violated in order to get out the remains which were then thrown to the wind. Chalices and cups for the celebration of the Mass were set aside for their orgies or broken or melted down or sold. Priests' garments embroidered with gold and set with pearls and gems were sold to the highest bidder and thrown into the fire to extract the gold. Immense numbers of sacred and profane books were flung on the fire or tom up and trampled under foot. The majority, however, were sold at derisory prices, for a few pence. Saints' altars, tom from their foundations, were overturned. All the most holy hiding places were violated and broken in order to get out the holy treasures which they contained . . .

When Mehmed (II) saw the ravages, the destruction and the deserted houses and all that had perished and become ruins, then a great sadness took possession of him and he repented the pillage and all the destruction. Tears came to his eyes and sobbing he expressed his sadness. 'What a town this was! And we have allowed it to be destroyed'! His soul was full of sorrow. And in truth it was natural, so much did the horror of the situation exceed all limits."

There fell Constantinople in 1453. What what to become Istanbul was the last vestige of Roman Christianity to fall, succumbing to a son desperately attempting to succeed his father’s accomplishments. For a thousand years, The Red Apple dangled above the Arabs and gave Europe, and the West, a reprieve from a Muslim World Order.

The Ottomans next bite, this time The Golden Apple, failed due more to divine intervention than Christian defense. The 1529 Siege of Vienna ended miserably for the Turks, but it didn’t kill their vision of total domination of the world. The dream died in 1683, but what is made clear is the Islamic Religion’s goal of complete subjugation. It’s laid bare in the Quran

هُوَ الَّذِىۡۤ اَرۡسَلَ رَسُوۡلَهٗ بِالۡهُدٰى وَدِيۡنِ الۡحَـقِّ لِيُظۡهِرَهٗ عَلَى الدِّيۡنِ كُلِّهٖۙ وَلَوۡ كَرِهَ الۡمُشۡرِكُوۡنَ‏ ﴿9:33﴾

[9:33] He it is Who has sent His Messenger with the guidance and the True Religion that He may make it prevail over all religions,³² howsoever those who associate others with Allah in His Divinity might detest it.

32. The Arabic word ad-din has been translated into ‘ways’. For the word deen, as has already been explained in E.N. 204, Al-Baqarah, is used for the ‘way of life’ or the ‘system of life’, which is followed in obedience to the supreme authority.

Now let us try to understand the significance of this verse. The object of the mission of the Messenger is to make the guidance and the right way he has brought from Allah dominant over all the other ways and systems of life. In other words, the Messenger is not sent to allow Allah’s Way to remain subordinate to other ways in order to enjoy concessions from them. He is sent by the Sovereign of the earth and the heavens to make His Way dominant over all other ways. And if a wrong way is at all allowed to remain on the earth, it should be tolerated only under its own protection by the payment of jizyah under the limits conferred by the divine system as in the cast of the system of life of the zimmis who pay jizyah.

FOOD * MUSIC * ART * CRAFT * HISTORY

My concept of culture and civilization is built on five elements - each one of these elements is at once intensely personal and extremely public. Imagine your life without just one of these elements - no music? Couldn’t be food. We don’t need art to live, right? Or craft, beyond a fire? And history is just for the winners. What about the losers? Which element would you eliminate?

Human Beings need the last four elements as much as the first one. And once we share any one of these elements with another human being, we’ve created culture. Two human beings are a tribe. And once a tribe shares their culture with another tribe, most often through war and conquest, it creates civilizations. And History.

What we’re watching unfold today is another moment of history being written. What’s most strikingly notable, if not entirely novel in times of war, is the gleeful attitude of the 10/7 Attackers depicted in their own videos. And even more alarming and embarrassing is the immediate denials by protestors of those acts. As if we don’t believe our own eyes and ears. Every one of them a Bagdad Bob.

At least some Germans pretended to be ashamed or to not know what happened, but this is straight-up reverse-thought. Saying it didn’t happen, but if it did, then it was justified, is really saying something.

Besides the obvious and apparent political power struggles that set this war off, the ignorant hateful animosity shown by participants and cheerleaders towards the enemy is so raw, it’s a call to arms for all. Individual Freedom and Liberty for every Human Being or Not. It’s that simple. Can every human alive have agency over their own life? Or Not? Should some or all be subject to involuntary rule?

So let’s back up here a bit. Jew Haters are supposed to be White Supremacists, Hitler, Goehring, Mengele, et al, every Republican since Nixon, anyone wearing a red cap, Jussie Smollett thugs, The Bad Orange, the fine people, and all of his cult members. And me. I’ve been called a Nazi in responses to my online commentary. But mostly because of my pasty white complexion.

I mean, a dude called Snickers lived in my prison cell (for reference - a prison cell is 6’x9’) for 12 days. Snickers was about 6’4” and a skinhead. He also had a Swastika tattooed right between his eyeballs. He hated Jews. For no reason other that he was supposed to. He couldn't read or write, so he had no knowledge base from which to make informed life decisions. He was in this time because he beat up his grandma robbing her.

The reason Snickers moved into my cell was because that the Jew dude living in there before got himself targeted by carrying around the Torah. Bad call in prison. The Jew guy went out sideways on a stretcher. Prison is a bad place for Jews.

So again, who is a Nazi? White people that hate Jews? Or other people that hate Jews? How about we leave the Nazi title for, uhm, Nazis? How about we start calling people what they are - Jew Haters. Weather you’re white, black, brown, yellow, red, purple, green, or blue - all colors of the rainbow can be Jew Haters now. Protest proudly people. Like they say, only in America.

It’s amusing to say the least to see Joe Biden called a Nazi. I’ve been searching online for an image of a handmade protest sign - now they’re factory-printed, probably in China - of Joe Biden with a Hitler moustache! I saw it on a news report and my phone was dead or I would’ve snapped a pic. It was precious.

Joe Biden is Hitler! Springtime for Hitler anyone? Satirizing war propaganda is an important, necessary, and critical element of Art. Blazed by Court Jesters and now under attack once again by insecure leaders, it’s a dangerous and fraught path I travel. But I do that for you, my faithful and loyal readers.

I love how he’s just on his phone with a Swastika sign. So casual, um, yeah, a Latte, but make sure it’s not milk. I’m lactose intolerant. I’ll kill that Barista if they fuck my order up again!

Aw Uncle Joe - where did it all go wrong? Hmmm, can he send Hunter to help out? Maybe they can smoke a Peace Pipe? Oops, wrong intersection.

A woman whose lifeless and semi-naked body was paraded in the back of a Hamas pick-up truck as militants sat on top of her and jeered following their violent incursion was last night identified as a German tattoo artist.

Shani Louk, 30, was at a music festival for peace when she was seized by terrorists as they attacked Israel in a surprise assault . . .

Barely alive and suffering beyond belief, her legs broken backwards, jeered at by the terrorists, struck with sticks by adult women in Burkas, and spat upon by children. How is it that mercy was delivered by her beheading?

When they’re done with the Jews, the Queers for Palestine below will be next. Look at the blonde girl on the right. Imagine her in the back of the pickup truck in the story above. Well, we don’t have to imagine, do we? We seen it.

Finally some Gay pushback. Or not really finally. Just pushback. How can so many LGBTQIA+ be so stupid? Because they want to. A protest is a party. It’s a cool thing to do. and since we don’t teach actual things in school, it’s an extra-credit activity.

The post below argues that it’s Israel that oppresses Gays in Gaza. Well written and well documented, it’s a persuasive piece. I don’t disagree with many of the points the author makes, but I cannot support it’s conclusion.

And now back to the real Nazi. Really? Millions of Jew Haters in the streets around the world, and it’s Trump the Nazi? What The Fuck? Broken-Free-World!

Weekend Listening: The Bright Line Between Good and Evil

Where we go from here is uncharted. We have no leadership, no principle, no national cohesion, and no good choices. America is a dysfunctional family left to it’s own devices right now. Dad’s in absentia. Mom’s a gibbering mess. Big(now) brother is punching up. Middle brother feels froggy. Little brother is not to be left out.

And like an episode of Soap, we mix and match. Benson is part of the problem now. He’s not Black anymore. He’s just black. And straight. And probably a Nazi.

I leave you here, in the middle of the road. I make my path, trepidatious at times, always inviting others to join up and push along. Look, singularly, we are at essence a human being. Each so unique and beautiful and precious and loved. Can we stop killing us? Cain and Abel, I guess.
