I'm going to go out on a limb and say that "To Live & Die in LA" might just be 2Pac's most underrated track.

In the mid-90s, the regional airline I worked for offered us all the chance to get our dispatcher license at no cost. The only catch was that we'd have to move to Farmington, where HQ was (then) located. Only 1 of us took them up on the offer.

I sometimes wonder what life would've been like if I'd taken them up on their offer. Sliding doors, and all that...

six degrees, right? Further evidence of my belief that we are all so much closer than apart! did you ever visit Farmingville? (our name for it in school!) I've gone back twice for reunions, in 92 and 07. Folks who live outside the city limits literally call it "the city". All 30,000 strong!

I wound up driving through there a few years later (‘97 maybe??). It was quite the booming metropolis. Lol.

Farmington never struck me as a pass-thru town, Growing up there it felt a get-out or get-your-ass-stuck-there town! I plan on making it a road trip and to chronicle this adventure. Kind of a reverse get-out! gonna need some road music!

Offer people no-guarantee estimates of the value of their homes if they are considering selling. I'd have paid $50 to a freelancer to do that for me.
