Tribal Trade-offs or Racist Restrictions

The Mayor of Chicago is female.

The Mayor of Chicago is gay.

The Mayor of Chicago is black.

Which of those characteristics are most important to you? Select only one of those criteria to filter some of your professional interactions at work through. Inform your bosses that you will only interact with people that share just that one characteristic. Circle back to me on what they say to that.

I wrote about Multi-Racial Identity in my fourth post on Substack. Read it here. I love being American. I believe and trust in the people of the United States. At last count, well over 10% of households are Multi-Racial. This is how and what will improve America. This is the real Hope and Change.

Now, due to Intersectionality, any deviance from correct thought and belief expression about race is aborted. Victimology is ranked and stratified, old victimhood statuses are revoked, and new victims of new oppressions publicly self-identify while shame-begging for privacy.

The Victim Industrial Complex was hatched. The twit-mob is its standing army and occupying force.

Racial rectification could be more easily addressed when all victims had equal status and all oppressions were one-dimensional. Now, who gets their complaint handled first? Black man? White woman? Black woman? White gay man? Black MTF Trans? Yellow FTM Trans? Brown Lesbian Dreamer? White celebrity afraid of Fro-Yo? Can we get a roster please?

Free-thinking and self-expression are under attack. From within. And I cannot understand it. Let’s unpack this, as we like to say. There is a lot stuffed in here, so hang on. 

Let us start with a few hypotheticals. I could probably do some research and find some actual journalists that would fit into the arch-types I have created here, but I didn’t want to. This is America, and I am sure that these faux-journalists are probably out there in real life somewhere. 

Istvan is the son of Hungarian immigrants. His dad worked three jobs and his mom scrubbed toilets in a hi-rise. He was shy but smart. He started the pride club in a small Jewish private high-school. He wrote for the school papers. He earned a scholarship to a small private college. 

He got jobs writing. He got picked up by a indie Chicago street-rag. Then he wrote some really good pieces about social injustice and discrimination. He got noticed. He started writing for big nationals. He brought attention to the disparity of health care in communities of color during the pandemic.

Here he is, a rags-to-riches story. He asks for an interview with the first black female gay mayor. He wants to explore an investigative series that would shine light on that health care disparity in an effort to improve it.

Ciara (pronounced kee-ra) is a proud non-binary person. They have built a life fighting against oppression and injustice. Her single mom escaped the ghettos of Dublin after being raped by stowing away on a merchant ship. She found out she was pregnant when she reached America in 1983.

Ciara had a tough life, but it changed when the love of their life showed up. In the form of a beautiful black soul that made life whole. Ciara had a career blogging about life in the shadows. They were very much interested in the transformational nature of Chicago’s first Black female gay mayor. They wanted to do a blog interview. 

I could keep this up, but I won’t insult your intelligence. The sad fact about these fake journalists is that if they were real, and asked for an interview with Chicago's mayor, they really would be rejected.

Because they are white. And therefore, they have nothing of value to contribute, that their lived experiences would not be appreciated by someone with different colored skin, just by virtue of skin color. 

That is complete racist bullshit. And I am calling it out. I have been friends with a rainbow of multi-skin-colored-friends. I write a series called Open Letter to Gen X that explores why this cohort is so radically, and racially, different from any generation prior.

One big reason is that Gen X grew up amongst different-skin-colored friends from birth. And because we were latch-key kids, we had the power to hang-out with whomever we wished. And our generation has more multi-racial relationships and has produced millions of multi-racial humans. Most of millions and millions of people don't give one rat-shit about your skin color. 

And after all of the racial reconciliation that has occurred, we are going backwards. So I had a former brother-in-law, white guy, whose mom married a black dude for a second husband. So all of a sudden, he had black step-siblings, aunts and uncles and grandparents and cousins. And his mom got pregnant, so now he had black half-siblings. 

And he grew up with all of these black people in his immediate family. And the mayor of Chicago thinks that his whiteness is worthless.

I read a writer named Bari Weiss here on Substack. She features guest essayists, and she introduced me to this guy, Peter Savodnik. I am discovering so many writers that come from many different backgrounds, but all seem to be honing in on the true nature of the attack on free-thinking we are now experiencing.   

They are focusing on violence against Jews, and the hate of Israel. But the rationale of the attackers is the same rational they use against other wrong-thinkers. Every dispute has to be boiled down to the oppressor vs oppressed. 

Every identity intersection is a comparison of relative victimology. Who represents the biggest victim that has lost the most? The Jew. Or at least that was the story. I mean losing over 6 million to an actual Hitler used to be bad. And as recently as Charlottesville, the Platform-Elite held the Jew up as a victim of the Bad Orange, a fake Hitler, so called.

But, true to situational-ethics and moral-relativism, now the skin-color of the oppressed is more important than the fact that those different-skin-colored-people are firing off rockets. Ok. But like Peter writes 

For a while, the Enablers succeeded in creating the impression that the forces of liberalism and illiberalism could be woven together. That they could be harmonized. But that illusion is over. The plate tectonics are shifting away from them, toward the True Believers, and the True Believers are pushing up against the wobbly, castle walls of the Enablers. Peering in through the windows.

The Platform-Elite filled the moat with the metaphorical dead bodies of Wrong-Thinkers, in a vile and vain attempt to ward off retribution. In this case, the White-Platform-Elite got a pass on their evil whiteness by pointing to eveiler white people. The twit-mob simply had to step across their utopian sacrifices to reach the curtain wall and take down the battlements. Well, at some point we run out of eveiler white people. 

The Platform-Elite have abandoned the bailey, and are cowering in the keep. Like a feeble old king, his patriarchy and power stripped from him, he wails pathetic-platitudes into the wind, the sycophants still sucking up to the end. This time, he is the only evil white person in the room.
