My brain is fried this week. The Hollywood Bowl gig is amazing. It’s located on a really high hill. After the first six days, my legs felt like noodles. I caught my second wind today. I inspected 11 properties and caught some amazing first-time views of the city.
I found a new-to-me secret middle-of-LA-spot. It’s called Franklin Canyon Park. I mean, Mulholland and Doheny built the dam thing. Pun intended, duh. It’s pretty incredible, and today was a beautiful So Cal summer day.
Short and sweet today. Sleep deprivation is real. My body and brain are fighting each other. I think the body is just going to play possum soon.
Enjoy the pictures. Click on here to see the satellite map. The three-acre lake, The Upper Franklin Canyon Reservoir is visible from a one-way road that travels the perimeter almost directly at lakeside. You have to drive over two narrow old bridges.
Driving around this little lake today recharged my batteries. Sharing these pictures with my community, I guess, is my way of helping to recharge yours.

I was listening to this playlist while driving around the lake. What a great day. Make each of your great.
Nature is the best way to recharge batteries, for sure!
